In December, we launched the new Estanislao website with the collaboration with our customers. As part of the new site, we intergrated Facebook 'Likes', and personally invited our customers to try and get the most 'likes' on their profile. To promote the Tim Burton interpretation of Alice in Wonderland, Miquel Marco produced an editorial photoshoot in homage to Alice. The photos were shot by Xavier Gonzalez, and illustrations by Victor Escandell. Estanislao was featured along Lydia Delgado, Ailanto, Josep Font, Manuel Bolano and Dolored Promesas – each in their version of Alice.

Estanislao Solsona returned to his home city, Lleida, to present his new collection of bridal and eveningwear. The new collection - 'Geometric Splendour' marks a noticeable change in direction for the designer, as he explores silhouettes with more volume and movement, yet retaining his aesthetic of architectural tailoring. Inspired by the grand maestros of design in the 1940's and 1950's, Estanislao re-interprets many of those looks for today’s woman.
El Periodico featured Estanislao Alta Costura in this edition of Dominical – the newspaper’s national Sunday magazine. Luis Miguel Marco investigated the artisan process of made to measure tailoring, how it is gaining in popularity, and how it is affordable compared to boutique prices. The ‘night of the masks’ photos were shot in collaboration with photographer Andrés Pardo and stylist Ricardo Pardo - all shot at La Grec, in Barcelona.
Mari Yeste Godo, now has her wedding dress and is just waiting for her fiancée Josep Maria to set the date. She was the lucky winner who grabbed the winning bridal bouquet on the steps of the Girona Cathedral yesterday. Mari chose the dress ‘Grace’ to be made to measure by Catalan designer, Estanislao. The event was broadcast direct on the daytime program, El Club and was preceded by a fashion show of the five options for the future bride.

At the 43nd annual National Competition for Paper Dress Designs, the Estanislao Prize was given by the designer Estanislao Solsona. The prize consists of a pair of gold sewing scissors and is given annually to the contestant whose creation is most representative to what is fashion at that time.
Mariángel Alcázar featured Estanislao Alta Costura in her weekly column ‘De compras’ on the 7th of May. Her column can be found in the Wednesday edition of La Vanguardia in the Vivir section. In this edition she focused on ateliers in Barcelona, and how Estanislao is dedicated to the art of creating.

As part of Gratacos’ continual support to the world of Alta Costura, Estanislao was chosen to dress the mannequins in the bridal area of this famous fabric emporium. Made entirely without sewing, the dresses complemented the store and their incredible fabrics.

Estanislao presents four new dresses from his bridal collection and allows the audience to choose which would be the most likely style for the highly anticipated wedding of a popular Catalan soap opera protagonist. Josefina Xufré was presented with the Premi Estanislao for Moda Actual and Innovation. Estanislao presented the silver scissors personally to the winner. It was great to see that she has added this to the many awards for her paper dresses – now in this category as well! The competition is held in Mollerussa, which is very near the town where Estanislao was born in the Province of Lleida.
